SAINT EUSTATIUS (British), unknown denomination, raised SE inside incuse circle (1809) countermark on an unidentified thick copper coin with additional countermark inside incuse box on reverse, possibly rare. KM-1.2 for type. 9.55 grams. Interesting piece with clear raised SE in an incuse circle countermark on a thick unidentified copper flan that weighs almost 10 grams, much more than the normal hosts for this type. On the reverse, there is a second countermark of an incuse box with obscured lettering in it, possibly a NEVIS countermark of 1801. Fairly bold VF SE countermark on a dark, well-worn host with a little surface pitting, possibly important for the Caribbean specialist but here sold "as is" in any case. With old collector tag.
